Our story starts a decade ago, with two people not looking for one another. But isn’t that how some of the most epic love stories start? Jen, a single mom focused on her kids and her career not looking for love and Anthony, the carefree bachelor enjoying his quiet solitude with no intention of ever settling down. Sounds like the start of a hallmark movie doesn’t it?

A chance meeting with shared smiles, notes passed in stairwells, and conversations that lasted hours and hours through late night shifts, sparked a relationship neither of were prepared for. But even the most stubborn heart can be opened when God steps in.

We entered into our relationship slowly-cautiously, with the notion that it wasn’t just our two hearts involved but those of two “little people” as the kids were fondly referred to. It wasn't always easy, and it has been far from perfect, but somehow through critical incidents, fears, insecurities and all of lives challenges, we created a love that has lasted through it all. We have now grown that love into a family. We’ve raised two kids, made houses homes and experienced loss and joy together. We have built a solid foundation these last 10 years of love and respect and understanding. While it might have taken us a long time to get to this point, we knew 10 years ago this was it. That this love was different. Heart and soul-we are made for each other and are so excited for this next chapter as husband and wife!
