How do I RSVP? Is it mandatory?
Yes. We do require a RSVP to attend. We hope all those invited will be able to join us for our special day. With your invitation, there is a pre-stamped and addressed RSVP card that you will need to fill out and have returned to us by October 5th 2024. Please make sure you RSVP even if you cannot attend as it is important for our final head count and seating arrangements. Thank you
Do I need a pass to get on post?
Yes! You can register for one online up to 30 days in advance or get one in person the day of at the visitor center at the Sheridan gate. Please come early if you plan to go in person.

What time do I need to arrive?
15-20min prior
What should I expect after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the immediate family of the couple will be taking pictures at the church for approximately 20 min and the couple will be taking photos for an additional 30min. Guests can drive over to the reception hall (about 13 minutes away) where snacks and drinks will be flowing. Dinner will be served around 6 pm, with dancing to follow.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to restrictions on guest list size, we are unable to accommodate plus ones or additional guests unless specified on your invitations. Please see the number of seats reserved in your honor on your RSVP card.
Can I bring my kids? Will there be a babysitter?
Since we have huge extended families and a large guest list, we will be adult only with the exception of immediate family, and we hope you understand. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help in identifying child care for you. We will have a babysitter available for out of town guests if you’d like information-please reach out!
Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
We ask that you please refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. We want you fully present! I promise to share pictures our amazing and talented photographer takes-but let’s let the professional take them! We want to look out and see all of your beautiful faces and not phones! thank you for respecting this!
Will there be a cocktail hour?
Yes! Immediately following the end of the ceremony in the Sheridan Room at the Patriot Club. The reception area will open up for guests after the cocktail hour finishes, but the doors to the ballroom will remain closed until just before 6.
What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?
We’ll be serving light snacks during cocktail hour, followed by a delicious dinner, and of course dessert. There will be beer and wine provided. Additional alcohol will be cash bar located in the Jack Daniels Room next to the ballroom.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes, we will provide beer and wine. Additional drinks beyond that are available for purchase at the Jack Daniels bar. Please drink reasonability.
Will transportation be provided? Is there easy parking at the venue(s)?
We are not providing any formal transportation for the events. Please stay safe and default to a ride service or carpooling if you plan to drink. Uber is available at certain times
Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. We’ve paid for a great photographer and I’d hate to have her photos ruined by cellphones. However For the reception, we encourage guests to capture all of the best times and when posting pictures use our wedding hashtag #HappilyEverEdwards so we can see them, too!

Are you registered? Where should we ship your gift?
We are registered at Honeyfund. As we already have a home, most of our needs are not directly material. We do have a small registry at Pottery Barn and Amazon
What weather should I expect?
Highs in November are typically in the 60s-70s here. Lows in the 40s, however Oklahoma is known for its drastic weather changes. Please check the weather prior as it’s been known to snow or be 100 in November!

If I’m coming from out of state-when should I arrive and how long should I stay?
The hotel block is from Thursday-Sunday. You of course are welcome to come earlier or stay later. We are both taking off work a few days before the wedding and will be around on Sunday! We leave Monday morning for our honeymoon! For any out of town guests-we will likely host a small lunch at our house Sunday and if you are catching flights later in the day you are welcome to come and spend your afternoon with us!
